Why do millennial female Muslims travel? What do they say about traveling?

The millennial Muslim travellers have a strong tendency to rely on blogs, social media, and online reviews prior to planning their travel and making travel decisions. In particular, they use social media for information seeking and sharing (Mastercard & HalalTrip, 2017). As a result, this segment will shift the development of Halal travel with the demand for specialised travel services and products that can meet the women’s personal and relationship needs. However, it is important to note that there are cultural and social differences within these Muslim millennials that should be considered (Tan et al., 2018).
