Academia Without Borders

The Founder of MWiTH, Hera Oktadiana, delivered a talk at the Pesantren Riset Kalam workshop in Indonesia on 14 March 2025, discussing self-development and academic careers in the global arena. Her speech, titled “Academia Without Borders,” highlighted key pillars essential for navigating in a global academic environment. These include adopting a growth and impact-driven mindset, fostering collaborations, and ensuring that academic work brings benefits to humanity.

As Muslims, we must consistently strive for excellence in our work, make dua (supplication), and trust in Allah’s guidance. This journey begins with a sincere intention (niyyah) for the sake of Allah SWT, followed by consistent effort (istiqamah), supplication (dua), and complete reliance on Allah (tawakkul).

Good Intention (Niyyah) + Consistent Effort (Istiqamah) + Dua (Supplication) + Tawakkul (Trust in Allah) = Success
